You’re Caring for Everyone. Let’s Make Sure Someone Is Caring for You.

Postpartum is a beautiful, exhausting, tender season. Your body has just done something extraordinary, your hormones and routines are shifting, and suddenly your tiny human needs you for just about everything.

It’s easy to put yourself at the very bottom of the list.

At Pulse Chiropractic, postpartum care is about giving you a place to be cared for, too. Gentle chiropractic care can support your body as you recover from pregnancy and birth, while helping you reconnect with yourself during the transition into motherhood.

You Can't Pour From an Empty Cup, and You Don't Have to.

Postpartum care at Pulse is centered around you as a whole person, not just the body that gave birth.

Your body has spent months adapting to pregnancy and then experienced birth, whether vaginal or cesarean. Now you’re feeding, carrying, rocking, bending, lifting, sleeping in strange positions, and learning how to care for someone who communicates primarily through facial expressions and mysterious noises.

Your body deserves support through all of that.

When Mama Feels Supported, She Has More Space to Connect.

Postpartum care isn't about creating a perfectly regulated mom or a perfectly regulated baby. It's about creating more opportunities for connection.

When a mother has support, rest, nourishment, connection, and appropriate care for her own body, she may have more capacity to be present and responsive with her baby.

And sometimes postpartum wellness looks less like “getting back to normal” and more like:

Learning your new normal.

Dr. Kaleigh Saxon, adjusting newborn in chiropractic office

"I've had such a great experience with Dr. Kaleigh! She is incredibly kind, takes the time to truly listen to my concerns, and always makes me feel heard. Her approach is very gentle, which has made a huge difference in my comfort level during each visit. I always leave feeling better and well cared for- highly recommend!"

Gentle Care for a Body That Has Been Through a Lot

Your postpartum body doesn't need to be rushed.

Dr. Kaleigh takes time to learn about your birth experience, recovery, feeding journey, daily routines, and what you're experiencing now.

Your care may focus on supporting comfortable movement, body awareness, and overall wellness as you transition into motherhood.

And yes, bring the baby. If your newborn needs to eat, be held, cry, or take a break, that's okay. This is their space, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is postpartum chiropractic care safe?

Postpartum chiropractic care is tailored to your individual needs, health history, recovery, and comfort level. Dr. Kaleigh will discuss your pregnancy and birth experience and evaluate what approach is appropriate for you.

How soon after birth can I see a Chiropractor?

There isn't one universal timeline for postpartum care. Your recovery depends on your pregnancy, delivery, overall health, and individual circumstances. Dr. Kaleigh can discuss when care may be appropriate for you.

Can I bring my baby to my appointment?

Absolutely. Your baby is welcome at Pulse and we can adjust you at the same visit! We understand that postpartum appointments don't always happen quietly or according to schedule. Feeding, diaper changes, crying, and cuddles are all part of the experience.

Can I see a Chiropractor after a C-Section?

Postpartum care is individualized based on your recovery and medical history. Dr. Kaleigh can discuss your birth experience and determine what care is appropriate and comfortable for you. She can also coordinate with your medical providers when needed.

What does C0-Regulation have to do with postpartum wellness?

Babies develop their ability to regulate emotions and stress through relationships with responsive caregivers. Supporting a mother's own well-being can be an important part of creating the capacity for connection and responsive caregiving. Chiropractic care is one part of a broader postpartum wellness approach.

You Are Allowed to Be Cared For, Too.

Postpartum can feel like a thousand tiny moments happening all at once. You don't have to navigate it alone.

Whether you're a few weeks postpartum or well into motherhood, Pulse Chiropractic is here to support your body, your wellness, and your transition into this new season.
